Content Management Systems
This page collects samples from CMS websites, such as WordPress, Wix, and Drupal, that I have designed and written content for. In my website design, I organize my material according to responsive and accessible design practices. Within the following samples, I selected public domain images to complement the written material.
Narrative Templates and Tools
This WordPress website collects a handful of popular writers' story templating techniques into one place for dissemination and comparison. A few examples of these techniques are Orson Scott Card's MICE quotient and Randy Ingermanson's snowflake method.
The image to the right is an infographic I created with Canva. It describes one of the aforementioned narrative templates, Brandon Sanderson's three laws of magic.

My primary design focus with this website was to balance visual elements and narrative content in my explanation of how the story templating techniques are used. I also used anchor links to create a mini table of contents for each page to further enhance the navigability of the website.

Characteristics of A...
This WordPress website is a brainstorming and character-building resource for those who participate in tabletop RPGs. Each blog entry provides factual information about common animals and creatures that may appear in tabletop RPGs, such as horses (or Rothe, which are creatures similar to musk-oxen). Once the facts have been relayed, each entry presents ideas regarding how to incorporate those facts into creative and realistic character concepts to promote high-level storytelling.

With this website, my focus was on creating engaging content that would appeal to expert and beginner tabletop RPG players alike. I also tailored each element of the website to reflect the topic theme: animals and creatures in DnD. I made the blog the star focus of the website to resemble an animal encyclopedia or fantastical compendium of beasts, for example. Archive, post tags, and search functionalities are highly emphasized in this website's design.
