The Delightful Rogue: Plunder
A script written in mind of a serialized comic, divided into several arcs. "Plunder" is the first issue of the three-issue opening arc, "Loss." The principal characters are a grieving, well-meaning ex-paladin, a "baby swamp horse," and the sullen ghost of a warhorse. In this narrative, they attempt to stave off a bandit raid...one that they accidentally caused.

Hoard
"Hoard" is an experiment in telling a story without the use of any dialogue. In this high fantasy script, a greedy and traumatized goblin named Ri is on the run from debt collectors. She temporarily takes shelter in the outskirts of the town where a young whittler, Violet, and her mother, the hunter Anastasia, reside. Each of the women has something to learn from the others, but communication barriers impede their progress.

Remembrance
A short script in which a paranoid, fretful king struggles to prove to his eldest daughter that he can still be trusted, while he battles his own fears that he is not fit to rule. King Ieren suspects that his cook intends to kill him, but nobody seems to take him seriously. Thus he attempts to take matters into his own hands, whilst precariously balancing his relationship with his two daughters.

Diplomatic Immunity
Design Document
"Diplomatic Immunity" is a conceptual document containing background information and mechanic ideas for a short PC game with a branching narrative. It also covers important characters, the look and feel of the game, a general summary of the plot, and a few potential endings.

Contract
A short story detailing the magical contracts between a patron, deity-esque figure named Winter, and her large band of assassins that enforce her interests. Areni, Winter's Champion, has decided that she must break her contract, but hesitates to fully go against Winter, knowing the fate of all the others who have tried. She seeks aid from the cheerful alchemist who inspired her to break the contract in the first place, and together they struggle against the first of many challenges.

Divergences
"Divergences" details part of the background of one of my Dungeons and Dragons characters, a sorcerer named Yurk, as he stumbles into life on the run. The setting was created by GM Lunden Williams. Attempting to gather information on and come to terms with the death of a life-long mentor and father figure, Yurk is manipulated into joining a cult. Acting as an informant for the "Broken Worlders," all Yurk manages to succeed in is turning his homeland against him.

Earth, Sea, and Sky
"Earth, Sea, and Sky" is a short story built around miscommunication and misplaced grief. It was inspired by the 3Elements Literary Review's winter 2018 prompt: Delusion, Blueprint, Fisherman. Blaming himself for his wife's death, a lonely fisherman named Byron decides to build a grand house by the sea, believing the task to be the last thing his wife requested of him. Slowly, the task consumes him, as the worried villagers look on.
